Reuniting with some of my favourite people at one of the most wonderful wineries there is - Bellwether Winery presents "Country Fest"!
Join Darwin’s alt-country hero David Garnham, as he sings ballads about booze and women. David will be joined by Leo Rondeau all the way from Austin Texas, Mount Gambier local legend Christy Wallace, old time song man Archer from country Victoria and moi!
Located in the intimate surrounds of the 1868 stone Glenroy Shearing Shed, now home to Bellwether Wines.
Grab a glass or bottle of Bellwether wine, sample GALA’s delicious middle eastern food, or try new local beer “Side Tracked” by the Cide Project.
This is a rare opportunity, and one not to be missed.

JUNIOR have been one of the favourite live bands on the Australian Festival Circuit, appearing at festivals such as The National Folk Festival, Canberra; The Illawarra Folk Festival, NSW; Port Fairy Folk Festival; Fairbridge Festival Western Australia; Wintermoon and Woodford Folk Festival Queensland. Their songwriting captures the Australianness in us all and they will always make you smile.
VINCENT'S CHAIR “Vincent's Chair are the real deal – wonderful musicians playing all-original, beautifully crafted songs” InDaily, Adelaide The songs, by Kathie Renner – who cites Sting, Joni Mitchell and Paul Simon as her influences – have an eclectic sound that crosses all musical boundaries, and articulate enigmatic story-telling with a focus on honest musicianship.
DR DESOTO Fronted by Mikey Green (Ex The Audreys), Dr DeSoto produce edge-of-town acoustic jangles and torchlight songs, alongside punchy roots-pop which evokes the Polaroid days of radio. Stories about the strangeness of suburbia and the flicker of streetlights delivered over infectious rhythms and tremolo guitars.
Performing solo at the Wheaty, Sunday 23rd July! Performances also by the wonderful Cal Wiliams Jnr and Will Kalenderis.
Music at 4:30 and free entry!
