Appearing as a special guest at Melbourne comedienne Justine Sless's show "A Handful Of Walnuts"!
Sless is dry as a martini, suburban as a supermarket trolley and as comforting as a slow cooked lemon cake. "Smart, exquisitely funny, brilliant comic timing and an uncanny ability to combine the mordant with the whimsical". RHUM.
(Parents and babies welcome to the AM 'crybaby' shows)
Health benfits aside, a Handful of Walnuts from Justine will guide you with charm, 'biting sarcasm and razor-sharp wit'(Herald Sun) through her version of contemporary suburban bliss.
At ease troops, this is an accomplished comedienne who has been doing festival shows, kitchen sink dramas and bedtime stories for years. 'Sless is smart and exquisitely funny, thought provoking and slightly insane. And if the surfaces of so-called domestic bliss are in need of a good going over, then Sless does it with poise and aplomb". 'Justine’s acute observations of family life are intelligently funny. Sless describes her own humour as dry and satirical, which is spot-on. She has brilliant comic timing and an uncanny ability to combine the mordant with the whimsical.' RHUM 'Sless’ dry delivery unarms you, yet her warmth slowly radiates out and consumes the audience' - Arts Hub (parents and pre schoolers welcome to the AM shows)
